鶹ý partner Geoff Bracken is quoted in the Law360 article, “,” offering insight on a major energy litigation case in Texas.
Bracken, who is chair of 鶹ý’s Energy Litigation Practice, commented on a Texas appeals court ruling in 2023 that invalidated emergency electricity pricing orders enacted two years ago in the wake of Winter Storm Uri. That decision is currently under review by the Texas Supreme Court.
“It’s a very important case,” Bracken explained. “It’s right up there with the Texas Supreme Court giving ERCOT sovereign immunity this year.”
