Leigh Riley and Linda Benfield Named to Wisconsin Law Journal's Women in the Law
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ partner Leigh Riley and retired partner Linda Benfield are named to Wisconsin Law Journal’s 2026Ìý.
Riley, profiled , is recognized for her significant contributions as a firm leader. Riley is recognized for her firmwide leadership and lasting impact on attorney development and culture. She played a key role in expanding management and business development training across the firm, leading initiatives that became part of Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s new partner training program. Her contributions also extend to firmwide wellness efforts, including early involvement in initiatives focused on mental health and overall well‑being.
Riley is also honored for her long‑standing civic leadership. She served on the board of the Task Force on Family Violence and as board president during its combination with Sojourner Truth House, helping to form Sojourner, Wisconsin’s largest provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services. She currently serves on the board of the Wisconsin Policy Forum, which focuses on data‑driven public policy research and cross‑sector dialogue.
Benfield, profiled , is recognized for her distinguished four‑decade career with Âé¶¹´«Ã½. During her tenure, she held a variety of firm leadership roles and was deeply committed to mentoring and collaborative professional development.
Beyond her legal practice, Benfield has given back to the Milwaukee community through her service with United Way, the Boys & Girls Clubs, Children’s Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee Ballet.
