Â鶹´«Ã½ attorneys participate in protest protection work as Legal Observers.  In collaboration with and under the supervision of organizations such as the National Lawyers’ Guild, Â鶹´«Ã½ attorneys monitor, record, and report on any unlawful or improper behavior toward lawful protestors.  The Legal Observer program’s key aim is to enable people to express their political views without unconstitutional disruption or interference, and the presence of Â鶹´«Ã½ Legal Observers serve as a deterrent to such unconstitutional behavior during a demonstration.  Â鶹´«Ã½ Legal Observers must undergo legal observer training with a host organization to serve in this capacity and also must abide by certain standard guidelines to serve in this role.
